Chianti Ultra Is a ultra trail path that winds through the Chianti Storico territory, starting from the capital Radda in Chianti, joins the two territories of Chianti Fiorentino and Chianti Senese showing all its features, From the sweet hills full of vineyards and olive groves to the forest paths that climb up San Michele Mountain up to 900m altitude.

Registration wil open the 1st July supported by MySdam. From 01/07/2020 to 31/12/2020 - € 65,00 From 01/01/2021 to 20/02/2021 - € 70,00 From 21/02/2021 to 15/03/2021 - € 80,00 It is necessary to provide the medical certificate in validity, for foreign athletes it is compulsory to fill the health form.
Semi-autonomy is the principle according to which the athlete must be able to manage with his own food and water reserves the autonomy of travel on the track, between one assistance point and the other. In support of the athletes and to ensure their autonomy, checkpoints are provided at all refreshment points and along the route, for more details see point 10 of the regulation "CONTROL POINTS, SUPPLIES, GATES, AID STATIONS”

Chianti Trail require this equipment: - head lamp with spare battery - cell phone with number communicated to the organisation - personal cup - 1 litre water camelback - whistle - thermal blanket - wind jacket
We recommend using: - trail shoes - running clothes appropriate to weather conditions. - money for possible emergencies - trail running/trekking poles - suitable food supplies

Chianti Ultra Trail have the following time barriers and have a maximum time of 14 hours after which no assistance will be provided on the track. - Km 20 - San Polo - Ristoro – 10:00 - Km 36 - Vistarenni – Ristoro – 13:00 - Km 50 - Badiaccia a Montemuro – Ristoro – 15:30 - Km 57 - San Michele – 17:30 - Arrivo - 20:00
